Churchwood Valley - 4-Star Hotel in Wembury

Churchwood Valley offers 30 well-equipped wooden chalets set in 75 acres of woodlands and fields. Each chalet has a private patio with outdoor seating and table, plus a spacious living area overlooking the park. The 2-bedroom chalets include a bath, while the 6-person chalet adds a double sofa bed in the living area.

The park has an on-site grocery store open from April to October, plus a launderette for guest use. Electric vehicle charging stations are available in the parking area. Guests can borrow horse riding equipment and tennis equipment from reception.

Churchwood Valley sits right by the South West Coast Path, leading to the River Yealm where a ferry runs to Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo. Wembury Beach is a short walk down a lane and footpath along a stream. From Mountbatten, a water-taxi connects to Plymouth, about 6 miles away.

The park allows multiple pets per cabin, with a dedicated dog walking area and a private dog field available to book daily for a small fee. Families have use of board games and puzzles, and the on-site shop stocks essentials. Children can explore the woods, the beach, and the nature exploration events at the Wembury Marine Centre.

One-bedroom chalets offer twin or double beds, while two-bedroom chalets sleep up to six guests with a double sofa bed. All chalets have a private bathroom with shower; the 2-bedroom units also have a bath. The Deluxe Lodge (6 Adults) provides additional space and a private terrace.
